International Paper Awards Foundation Grants For Harvey Recovery

International Paper Orange Container board Mill has awarded $50,000 in foundation grants to local community organizations. Grants were awarded by the IP Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee.
“We feel privileged to be able to assist our local non-profits and organizations in their efforts to serve this community,” said Ed Barr, Mill Manager. “We look forward to seeing the great results they achieve.”
Local community organizations that were awarded grants for the 2017 cycle are:
- Little Cypress Mauriceville Elementary, classroom supplies and books to restock their flooded library
- Mauriceville Elementary, books to restock their flooded library
- OCARC, Materials for Special Needs employees
- Orange Community Action Association, meals for recipients of Meals on Wheels
- Orangefield Elementary, books to restock their flooded library
- Southeast Texas Food Bank, meals for local citizens who are food insecure
- St. Mary’s School, books to restock their flooded library
