Business Retention & Expansion
Our Goal
The Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) Program works collaboratively with the local chambers of commerce, municipalities, and other area partners – All focused on providing resources, service, and support to businesses. Our goal is to learn about the needs and concerns of existing businesses as they relate to conducting business in our community, and work to address those needs and concerns to encourage continued growth. We aim to foster an Open for Business environment for your business to thrive in our community. When your business succeeds, it helps grow our local economy and strengthens our community to ensure its sustainability well into the future.
Business Survey
The BRE survey is a tool utilized by the BRE program to facilitate a variety of functions, including:
-
Create an open dialogue between businesses and local, state, and federal governments;
-
Develop a clearer picture of the number and types of businesses operating in Orange County;
-
Identifying local business workforce needs; and
-
Anticipate and recognize any challenges that are threatening local businesses.
Your input is valuable to us as we develop initiatives related to business expansion and retention. The information collected during these surveys is used solely for economic development purposes.
Vendor Registration
If you are an Orange County vendor or contractor interested in offering your services to other Orange County businesses, or would like to participate in opportunities made available through new construction and investment in Orange County, you are eligible to complete the vendor registration form. Information collected will be shared with projects working with the EDC to invest in Orange County.
